Seasonal Fruits

Seasonal fruits such as Pitahaya, Sugar Mango and Tamarillo represent the best of Colombian harvests. At Frutas Comerciales, we offer these exotic varieties with export quality, available during specific seasons to delight international markets.

Pitahaya

Also known as the “dragon fruit”, pitahaya origins date back to pre-Columbian cultures, who were cognizant of its nutritional and medicinal properties. Its wide variety of colors, including red, white, yellow, and purple, is a key feature that sets it apart in the market.

Frutas Comerciales ranks among the leading companies in its exportation at the national and regional level, with more than 63 tons exported in the last decade.

Sugar Mango or Baby Mango

The Sugar Mango or Baby Mango is a Colombian variety. It evolved as the original Indian mangoes adapted to the American tropics. The result was a natural wonder. It is an ideal snack due to its fresh aroma and juicy, sweet flavor, and it is naturally suited for children’s lunchboxes.

Frutas Comerciales is one of the companies that developed the export market for baby mangoes. We have exported over 240 tons to markets in the United Kingdom, North America, the Persian Gulf, Switzerland, and the European Union in the past ten years.
